Best known by the moniker Special Request, British DJ/producer Paul Woolford has been electrifying dance floors around the world for almost three decades. Formerly a resident at Space in Ibiza, where he was a fixture at the long-running Sunday party We Love Space, he is also the owner of respected record label Intimacy. In recent years, Woolford has memorably collaborated with artists such as Alison Goldfrapp, Amber Mark and Diplo, scoring a global 2020 hit with the latter (and US singer Kareen Lomax) in ‘Looking for Me’. 來自英國列斯，擁有多重分身嘅製作人 Paul Woolford 喺2013年開始以 Special Request 名義活動，專門發表breakbeat techno及drum'n'bass風格嘅作品，同年推出首張大碟《Soul Music》，唔使幾耐，就跟隨 The Prodigy、Basement Jaxx、SL2、Liquid 等偶像腳步，簽約英國大廠XL旗下。
以實力證明自己擅於製作乎合派對節拍嘅舞曲後，Special Request 開始追求更具電影氛圍感嘅電子音樂，並以此為概念完成第二張專輯《Belief System》，除咗招牌重型breakbeat後，亦展現出佢混合electro、techno、jungle等樂種嘅掌握力，其後參與嘅《Fabriclive》及《DJ-Kicks》系列作，正係著手認識呢位英國電音好手品味闊度嘅好選擇。
透過與說唱歌手 Novelist 合作，Special Request 於 Peggy Gou 自家廠牌發行人氣單曲〈Silver〉後，繼續跑勻全世界各大DJ檯，今個十二月就會跑到 Clockenflap 2025 與香港樂迷見面。
