Formerly on influential Manchester label Grand Central Records (home to the likes of Aim, Fingathing and founders Rae & Christian), Rob Smith made his name playing breakbeat, hip-hop, dub and reggae-influenced cuts in the 1990s and early 2000s. As part of trip-hop trio Smith & Mighty, he was also one of the early pioneers of the Bristol Sound, producing Massive Attack’s first single ‘Any Love’. In recent years, Smith has turned his attention towards dubstep under the moniker RSD, a sound he’ll be bringing to Hong Kong when he makes his Clockenflap debut. Don’t miss out!
