Often compared to US acts like Blink-182, Sum 41 and Weezer, Japanese pop-punk band ELLEGARDEN have built up a fanatical following since forming in Chiba Prefecture in 1998. Beginning with their debut album ‘Don’t Trust Anyone But Us’ in 2002, the band embarked on a remarkable run of five hit albums in four and a half years, before going on hiatus in 2008. It would be 10 years before they took the stage again, roaring back with a reunion tour in 2018, and the release of ‘The End of Yesterday’—their first album in 16 years—in 2022. The band continues to reach new heights, recently providing the new opening song for the iconic “One Piece” anime. To catch their triumphant Clockenflap festival debut.
由細美武士、生形真一、高田雄一、高橋宏貴四人組成，根植千葉縣嘅 ELLEGARDEN 係千禧年代日本pop punk旗手，憑住〈ジターバグ〉、〈Missing〉、〈風の日〉、〈Space Sonic〉等熱血單曲收穫無數樂迷，2006年更憑藉大碟《Eleven Fire Crackers》更成為史上第四組奪得日本oricon排行榜冠軍嘅獨立樂隊。
受Weezer、Jimmy Eat World 等美國樂隊影響，ELLEGARDEN曲式風格充滿爆發力，歌詞內容一直抱持正面積極，現時許多大牌樂隊例如 ONE OK ROCK 等都直言EG係自己嘅啟蒙偶像，江湖地位可想而知。2008年，ELLEGARDEN喺聲勢巔峰決定休團，直至2018年再復出，舉辦演出不時會引來幾十萬樂迷抽飛，人氣有增無減。最近更為國民級動畫《ONE PIECE》獻唱全新片頭曲。12月7號，呢隊指標性日本搖滾大佬將會繼2023年專場後再度襲港，喺Clockenflap舞台上帶嚟更暢快淋漓嘅演出。
