Hong Kong’s Central Harbourfront. 

Clockenflap is located at Hong Kong’s Central Harbourfront, which is easily accessible by public transport. 

  • Bus: Depending on the bus route, you can alight in Central or the Outlying Ferry Piers and walk to the site. 

  • Ferry: The festival entrance is walking distance from all the Central ferry piers, including Pier 2. Park Island, Pier 3. Discovery Bay, Pier 4. Lama Island, Pier 5. Cheung Chau, Pier 6. Peng Chau / Mui Wo, and Pier 7. Star Ferry. The entrance to Clockenflap is located next to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel and Central Pier No. 10. 

  • MTR: The nearest MTR station is Hong Kong Station / Central Station (the stations are connected), which are terminus stops for the Tung Chung Line, Tsuen Wan Line, Island Line and Airport Express. From Hong Kong Station take Exit A2 or from Central Station take Exit A, and follow the walkway signs towards the Central Star Ferry Pier. At the Ferry Pier, you see the festival to your right – following the promenade around the harbour to reach the festival entrance, which is beyond the observation wheel. 

  • Taxi: Alight at the Star Ferry taxi drop off and walk straight ahead. The festival is approximately 2 to 4 minutes walking distance from the drop off point. Please note that due to the high likelihood of congestion, we recommend taking public transport. 

There is no parking at the venue. The closest public carparks are located at City Hall, IFC and Pacific Place. 

There is no smoking cigarettes, e-cigs or vaping devices in festival site, except in designated smoking areas. 

Clockenflap has a zero-tolerance policy to illegal substances and drugs. Anyone suspected or found in possession will be escorted from the grounds and handed over to the Hong Kong police. Officers will also be actively searching for offenders. 

Clockenflap has a zero-tolerance policy to underage drinking. If you’re under 18 and caught drinking, we’ll confiscate your drinks, escort you from the festival and call your parents or guardians. Seriously, don’t make us do this. 

Clockenflap will go ahead rain, wind or snow. So come prepared with your raincoat! (Note, umbrellas are prohibited from the festival site.)

Yes, fans with disabilities are welcome at Clockenflap and the majority of the site is flat and wheelchair friendly. Please note that only those who have mobility disabilities may use mobility devices. Crutches, wheelchairs and powered wheelchairs are allowed for use by people with mobility disabilities.  

Clockenflap is a crowded event. For safety reasons, please ask permission to bring a powered mobility device other than crutches or a wheelchair, particularly if it can move faster than walking speed or is very heavy. Clockenflap personnel may ask individuals using another type of power-driven mobility device for a credible assurance that the device is required because of a disability. Security will impound inappropriate mobility devices until the end of the event. 

No, there is no camping at the festival venue. Please note, there are plenty of hotels in the area for those wishing to stay close to the festival.  

Please note that Clockenflap’s official photographers and videographers will be on the festival site. By attending the festival, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed. Clockenflap shall reserve the rights to use, copy, distribute, publish, republish print, display, transmit, create derivative works containing your image, portrait, photograph, footage, voice and/or likeness, without compensation or notification to, or additional consent by you.
