With HK very much central to their story, Manila musicians Diego Mapa (of Pedicab fame) and Jay Gapasin (Radioactive Sago Project) met whilst both touring the territory with their prospective acts during the Rock Against The Round: Musicians Against the WTO series of events in 2006. A friendship was born over Aphex Twin, Black Sabbath and The Beatles and Tarsius was born.

Combining electronic music and live instrumentation to produce psychedelic-electronic dance tracks influenced by hip hop, big beat, house, jungle and indie, the duo have been championed by Four Tet, Sampology and many other movers and shakers across the industry.
