Claiming the street as a natural meeting place, Itinerània practises an ephemeral and festive intervention in the public space. Itinerània was founded in 2006 inaugurating “Las Cibicletas” (2006-2008) and “El Laberint” (2006) with which they have been travelling all around Europe.
In 2012 Itinerània showed for the first time “Titeretú”, a completely new idea that overtakes the audience from the outset giving the spectator a leading role.
“Titeretú” (in english "You are the Puppet") are 5 giant puppeteer hands made of iron and wood with their basic mechanical insides in plain view. The audience will no longer be just a spectator, it becomes the main character of the story: the puppet! Using the body as a simple tool, the participants will resolve balance, precision and coordination games.
