French electronic prodigy Fakear is making all the right noises ahead of his Hong Kong debut at Clockenflap.
 

Even before dropping his impressive debut LP, Animal, this summer, Fakear (aka Théo Le Vigoureux) was already being tipped as one of the hottest electronic acts to emerge from France in years. Taking his cue from the likes of Four Tet and Ninja Tune stable-mate Bonobo, the 24-year-old melds off-kilter beats, glitchy samples and even animal noises to create hypnotic sonic landscapes that have invited collaborations from M.I.A., among others. Set to be one of the breakout acts of 2016, Fakear’s Hong Kong debut couldn’t come at a better time.
