Born in Hubei and raised in Massachusetts, BOHAN PHOENIX is a rapper who uniquely bridges the gap between the Chinese and US hip-hop scenes. Described as “China’s most uncompromising indie rapper” by DJBooth, Phoenix spits lyrics with fire and skill in both Mandarin and English, and – like sometime collaborators Higher Brothers at 2017’s Clockenflap – is destined to be one of the most talked-about acts of this year’s festival.
