The West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade is located along Victoria Harbour facing Cental. Opened in September 2005, it was offered as a forerunner to the upcoming West Kowloon Cultural District and occupies an area of almost 34,000 square metres.
An extremely popular venue for outdoor events, over the past few years the WKWP has been used as the primary location for the Hong Kong & Shenzhen Biennale, the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, the Hong Kong International Jazz Festival, as well as a viewing platform for various government-sponsored events on New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival.
Offering stunning harbour views of the Hong Kong skyline, it includes an immense landscaped garden, a timber boardwalk, a children’s playground and numerous cultural highlights, making it the perfect location for this year’s Clockenflap.
