Logo
Logo is an Anglo Chinese Band with members coming form Liverpool London and Hong Kong. Although, the press has tried to label the band the band as psychedelic or post punk, the band has taken up the banner of the “post-futuresque” movement. The difficulty in pidgeon holing the band has led to comparisons as diverse as Ray Davies, Joe Strummer and Talking Heads to name but a few. Echoes of these may be heard in the music by the listeners, but the band is intent on forging its own sound.
Logo’s, first full album “Illegal Brain” was released in Japan in November of 2010, and its major release to Hong Kong and the rest of the world was in January 2011 and it is available on the major digital sites as well as retailing through outlets such as HMV. Time Out Hong Kong letters commenting on the album
“This is easily the best thing to come out of Hong Kong’s indie scene in the last couple of years”…. “Logo have put down a marker for other indie acts in Hong Kong”.
Earlier this year Logo appeared earlier at Taiwan’s biggest alternative music event at the Springscream Festival, and subsequently toured central China, Logo are appearing at Clockenflap for the first time and promise an intense experience for fans and future neophytes alike.
