THE EVENING PRIMROSE

The evening primrose is unique ensemble formed by Finindie Chan and Michhy Tang in 2007. Their speciality - sound and visual collaboration. Drawing inspiration from shoegazing, dream pop and a touch of surrealism, the duo created their own music genre: Imagery.

November 2007, the Evening Primrose released their first album "Stargazer" to some indie music stores and bookstores for free.

The title track 'Stargazer' was then collected in an Asian compilations "Half Dreaming", published by Quince Records in Japan.

January 2010, their second album "Starless" was published. It extended the motif of stars from their last album, but the music style became more sombre and experimental. The acoustic mixing and publication were responsible by Chan Ming Chak from poch records, he also brought the duo to play in some mini shows since then.

August 2011, the duo released their third album "Starfalling" which completed the trilogy of starry night series. Unlike the first two albums, the final one had injected the elements of painting and writing. This album was a collaboration of sound and vision and was published in the form of CD + book of fairy tale.
