COREY TAM & ONE HORSE TOWN

Corey Tam is a folk-rock singer-songwriter originally hailing from Toronto, ON. Combining sombre vocal melodies with versatile guitar hooks and musical arrangement, his songs reflect a variety of influences: From melancholic folk, to upbeat pop-rock, to hints of blues and jazz.

He released his debut self-titled EP last year, a six-song album that was self-recorded and produced. Combining newly-written songs with some older numbers, the album is a canvas of intricate acoustic and electric guitars, melodic piano and lilting organs, upbeat drumming and exotic percussion. More recently, he has recorded two rock-driven songs for the fourth Underground compilation CD.

Joined by One Horse Town duo Gabe Andre and Calvin Wong, they have played successful shows at popular venues such as Grappa's Cellar, Fringe Club, Backstage and the newly-opened Hard Rock Cafe in Lan Kwai Fong and continue to write innovative, original music while drawing in listeners with their captivating live performances.
