CRIMES AGAINST POP (SAT)

Paul Haswell and Carolyn Wright, aka the Pop Fugitives, started DJing together in 2001. By 2003 they had set up a club in London called “Crimes Against Pop”, where the ethos was to dance like nobody’s watching. This led to DJ sets at festivals across Europe until after 7 years of mayhem Paul and Carolyn moved the party to Asia and made Hong Kong their home.

Paul and Carolyn host a weekly radio show as the Pop Fugitives on RTHK Radio 3, but it’s when they perform as Crimes Against Pop that they are really in their element: upping the ante by mixing old-school hip hop with sartorial elegance, dropping it like it’s hot and always, always partying like it’s 1999.
