世界末日 SEKAI NO OWARI (SUN)JAPAN
Epitomising everything that’s weird and wonderful about J-Rock, Tokyo stars SEKAI NO OWARI are set for a Clockenflap debut that no one will forget.
One of the most exciting names in J-Rock today, Tokyo four-piece SEKAI NO OWARI have captured the imagination of the Japanese public over the past decade with their unique sound and penchant for the theatrical – particularly the flamboyant DJ LOVE, who is famous for performing in a clown mask. Drawing inspiration from everything from indie, pop and jazz to rock, electronica and classical, the band have won Best Album at the Japan Record Awards for their last two records, 2012’s Entertainment and 2015’s Tree, while their spectacular live shows have become the stuff of legend. In the making of their first global album in English, SEKAI NO OWARI (which means ‘The End of the World’ in Japanese) are out to give Clockenflap fans a taste of a band on the cusp of world domination.
